    Description

    Concord, NH - Concord, Manchester & Lawrence R.R. 50¢ Nov. 1, 1862
Payable at the Market Bank in Boston, this small scrip note was redeemable when presented in sums of even dollars. The green back indicates that these notes would also be redeemed at the Union Bank in Concord. Very Good with edge and internal tears. Enormously margined and only the second of this type that we have sold.
