    The river steamboat "Omaha" is the featured vignette on this appealing $5 remainder with a red "FIVE" overprint. Daniel Webster (1782-1852) is featured in the portrait at the lower left corner. Webster, a graduate of Dartmouth College and a lawyer, was a proponent of American nationalism. He ran unsuccessfully for the presidency in 1836 as a Whig party candidate.
