    Shakopee, MN- Farmers Bank $2 Sep. 1, 1864 G4 Hewitt B800-D2
The bank opened very late in the note issuing period and made its first issue of notes to circulation on September 12, 1864. The last issue was made just over a year later on September 15, 1865 which marked the last date for notes to be issued by any bank in the state. The bank went on to become the First National Bank of Shakopee (charter 1597) in 1865. There were $480 in unredeemed circulation in 1866. Printed by ABNCo, this note has great eye appeal. PMG Choice Fine 15 with the two cut out cancels duly noted. This marks the first time that we have offered this denomination from this bank.
