    Issued by the Victoria Elevator Co., this $5 note was intended for use during the Panic of 1893. It bears the facsimile signature of S.S. Cargill and probably circulated throughout the upper Midwest. PMG grades this note, which served as the plate note in the Shafer-Sheehan catalog, Fine 12 Net, citing that it has been repaired.
