    Minneapolis, MN- Minneapolis Clearing House Association $10,000 Nov. 6, 1907 Hewitt J680-D10K Shafer-Sheehan MN975-10000
Clearing House Loan Certificates are a class of panic scrip typically bearing the highest denominations among financial instruments. They were designed as an emergency measure to increase liquidity during financial crises and traded only within the clearing house system. This $10,000 piece is thought to be a sample demonstrating how a certificate was to be filled in as all the blanks are typed. Unique in Hewitt's census and worthy of the attention of both national bank and obsolete note collectors alike. PMG grades this certificate Choice Extremely Fine 45 Net due to mounting remnants and tears.
