    Description

    Sharon, MI- The Farmer's Bank of Sharon $3 Dec. 23, 1837 G4 Lee SHA-1-3
A rare note from a rare bank which, like so many of its peers, was open for a brief period of time in 1837-38. The note features a great vignette of, what else, three cows. PCGS grades this note Apparent Fine 12 and notes that there is an edge tear at top right and two mounting remnants on the back; the edge tear is virtually indistinguishable. We have only offered this denomination once before, nearly a decade ago in our 2004 Orlando, FL Signature auction.
