    Description

Port Huron, MI- John Miller & Co. Bankers 10¢ Aug. 25, 1862 Lee POR-3-2
A rare note with this being the first denomination that we have ever offered on this private bank that became the First National Bank of Port Huron charter number 1857 on August 7, 1871. Only one National Bank Note is recorded on this charter number. Instead of spending $6000 or so dollars on that National Bank Note, this Obsolete becomes a much less expensive alternative. This piece is signed by Cyrus Miles, who is a different signer than on the two examples plated in the Lee reference. Fine-Very Fine.
