    Marshall, MI- Bank of Michigan $3
    A beautiful black and white ABNCo remainder. In the vignette at lower left, Benjamin Franklin has a child on his lap and he appears to be telling the child about George Washington. The vignette, known as Example, was engraved by Alfred Jones based on the work of artist Francis W. Edmonds. This bank was organized on Jan. 1, 1862 and became the National Bank of Michigan, charter number 1518, in 1865. Gem Crisp Uncirculated.
