    Eagle River, MI- Bay State Mining Company $1 May(?) 4, 1863 Lee CMGC-3-2
    Printed by National Bank Note Co. during the Civil War, this copper mining company note has a frame for an adhesive revenue stamp, a large green "1" protector, and a neat vignette of two Union river mortars in action. Fine condition, with a few tiny paper scrapes on the right end and a paper thin that is not apparent when looking at the face of the note.
