Carrollton, MI- Carrollton Barrel Manufacturing Company 5¢; 10¢; 25¢ (2); 50¢ Nov. 1, 1862 Lee CAR1-1; CAR1-2; CAR1-3 (2); CAR1-4 Very Fine or better.The company was established in 1862 and remained in business until sold to the Empire Barrel Company in 1865. This group contains three remainder / printer's sample notes as well as two fully issued notes (stamped on the back indicating that they were also redeemable at the Saginaw Valley Bank at the bearer's option). A wonderful set that will allow the new owner to check off this issuer as complete in one fell swoop. The Specimen notes each have two small POCs in the signature. (Total: 5 notes)
