    Description

Barry, MI- Farmers Bank of Sandstone $3 Jan. 8, 1838
We have rarely been able to offer the $3 denomination from this short-lived institution that was organized on Dec. 30, 1837 and closed in 1838. The town, located on Sandstone Creek, was originally named Berry and was later known as the Town of Sandstone. A beehive, representing industry, is seen at left. Very Fine.
