    Ann Arbor, MI- Bank of Washtenaw $3 June 1, 1834
    Like many other banks from the Obsolete era, this bank opened and closed several times. The bank was originally chartered in 1835 and closed in 1846. It was reopened in 1853 and closed again the next year. The Bank of Washtenaw was located at the northeast corner of 4th and Ann Streets in the Chapin House. The central vignette on this $3 variety is Aurora in a chariot. A blacksmith is portrayed at left and a sheep is being sheared at right. About Uncirculated with a few small glue specks and a pencilled number on the back.
