    Adrian, MI- Erie and Kalamazoo Rail Road Bank $1, $5 (two examples) Aug. 1, 1853 G24a, G34b(2) Lee ADR-3-19, -38, -40
The $1 features a large nautical vignette and a portrait of Taylor along with a red "ONE" protector. The printed date of August 1st, 1853 has been overwritten with a "4". Lee calls this a "transitional note" that was used while the bank was awaiting notes from a modified plate which included an 1854 printed date. Very Fine.
The two $5s are identical except for the plate letter; one is A while the other is C. Both grade Very Fine.
"All Proceeds to fund at-risk and foster youth rehabilitation services through Turning Point Experience and other charities." (Total: 3 notes)
