Hingham, MA- Hingham Bank Spurious $5 Aug, 1, 1860 S5a Crisp Uncirculated.A spurious design that matched the vague counterfeit detector descriptions for a genuine note from this bank. The giveaway on this note is the poorly executed portrait on the right with "snowman" eyes and odd nose. The figures in the large V are also not well done.
