    Description

    Boston, MA- Boston Bank $2 June 1, 1860 MA-115 G44b. PCGS Fine 15 Apparent.
A scarcer denomination from this series, and genuine. Large, gray "2" numerals flank the ships sailing at top center. A large red protector is across gray micro-lettering. The New England Bank Note Company used the Patent Stereotype Steel Plate. The "Small Edge Tears" noted are trivial. An attractive example. Ex Eric P. Newman Collection where it realized $282 in the Internet Part 2 sale.

    Estimate: $150 - $250.
