    Salisbury, MD- Somerset and Worcester Savings Bank $1; $2; $3; and $5 Nov. 1, 1862
    This lot contains a complete denomination set of notes issued by this bank. The $1 and $3 are CU and a "4" has been written over the 2 in the printed date on both examples with red ink as is often seen, the $2 is Fine++, and the $5 is Fine with a couple of pinholes. The bank's charter was approved on Feb. 27, 1856 and the bank closed circa 1863-64. (Total: 4 notes)
