    A very scarce note, which Shank lists at an R-6 rarity level, this $1, which has a vignette of a Spanish pillar dollar as well as one of Mercury emptying a cornucopia of its coins, grades Very Good with three POCs in the signature of R.J. Cross, one of six commissioners authorized to sign these notes. We have not previously offered this design.
