    Description

Pointe Coupee, LA- Police Jury of the Parish of Pointe Coupe'e 5¢ Mar. 24, 1862 Very Good-Fine.
A neat parish note printed in the style of many New Orleans merchant issues of the day. The scarcer note has a train vignette and a red FIVE CENTS protector as its main design elements. The note has seen time in circulation and is a bit soiled with a few pinholes but is completely intact and fully issued.
