    New Orleans, LA- The New Orleans Canal & Banking Company $10; $20; $100 Remainders G22a; G34a; G60a
The $10 note, although technically a remainder because the Cashier signature has not been applied, bears a written date of June 1, 1846, is signed by the president, and has serial number 2734 assigned. It appears that this note was kept in inventory at this stage of completion but was never placed in circulation and was subsequently hammer cancelled. It is quite unusual to see any of these remainders even partially filled in. One of the hammer cancels has been crudely repaired with either white glue or correction fluid. All three notes are otherwise Uncirculated. (Total: 3 notes)
