    Description

New Orleans, LA- New Orleans Canal and Bank Company $1000
This is always a hotly contested note not only because it is the highest denomination on the bank, but because it is one of the few Obsolete $1000's that is realistically collectible. The last example we sold was a PMG 58 EPQ that brought $460 at our FUN January 2011 auction. Crisp Uncirculated with some opinions that it deserves a higher grade.
