    New Orleans, LA- Municipality No. One $50 Oct. 30, 1837 Remainder
    Between 1836 and 1852, New Orleans was governed as three separate municipalities. This $50 post note was to have been issued by Municipality No. One, paying 6% interest until paid. The vignette is of the St. Louis Hotel, a New Orleans landmark. This example grades About Uncirculated with faint evidence of very minor handling. It has toned paper as is often found on these issues.
