    New Orleans, LA- James Cosgrove at Mechanics and Traders Bank $1 Jan. 31, 1862
    Cosgrove was a leather goods supplier to the Confederate army in 1861-62. The back bears a blurred rubberstamp validation stamp by Cosgrove. This note which has a vignette showing some of the firms wares was payable at the Mechanics and Traders Bank in New Orleans. Very clean problem-free Fine condition example.
