    New Orleans, LA- G.W. Holt 25¢, 50¢, $1, $2, $3 January 1, 1862
    The dollar denominated notes all have the famous Female Riding Deer vignette. The 50¢ note has an unusual vignette of a horse that has on a horse blanket, while the 25¢ note has a more traditional vignette of a dog lying by a safe. The notes all average about Very Good. The 25¢ has body splits and thins due to the nature of the paper; the 50¢ has minor body holes and thins; the $1 has a small bit of mounting remnant and two small rust specs; the $2 has four spots of mounting residue on the back; the $3 has a large ink "X" cancel mark.
