New Orleans, LA- Geo. W. Gregor & Co. $1 (100 Cents) Undated circa 1860
This is an attractive piece issued by a merchant dealing in watches, jewelry, silver ware, guns, pistols, cutlery, and fancy goods. His location was at the corner of Camp and Canal Streets. This is only the second one of these that we have been able to offer, but we do know that these have usually been cut in half and reattached. This example has a handful of small holes, but it has not been cut in half. This is a great New Orleans note. Very Good.
