    Description

New Orleans, LA- Citizens' Bank of Louisiana $10 Remainder G26a
Although popularly credited as being one of the inspirations for the song Dixie, that distinction probably belongs to earlier New Orleans notes that also bore the word "Dix" ("Ten" in French). The song was published one year before this note was created by National Bank Note Company. Nonetheless, this is a striking red and black note that remains extremely popular with collectors. PMG grades it Choice About Uncirculated 58 EPQ.
