    Description

New Orleans, LA- Canal Bank $100
A portrait of George Washington appears at the lower left corner of this $100 remainder. The central vignette features a detailed dock scene with slaves loading cotton and the riverboat ETIWAN in the background. She was built at Charleston, S.C. in 1834 and operated from that city to various forts during the Civil War carrying soldiers and cargo. The red back is quite attractive as well. Very Choice Crisp Uncirculated.
