    Description

    Natchitoches, LA- V. Durand $2 Apr. 27 & 29, 1862 Two Examples
Victor Durand's store was located on Front Street next to a cigar manufacturer. Two notes, About Good and Good, are contained in this lot. Perhaps they were used to purchase a cask of claret, oysters in cans, or the imported European perfumes that he carried in his "old store." One note has internal tears and holes along with rough margins. The other example was backed with thin paper that included lists of the clerk of the court, etc. There will be no returns on this lot for any reason. (Total: 2 notes)
