    Homer, LA- J.A. Avera 10¢ Mar. 11, 1861 Rothert 90-1
This is a two state tie note between Louisiana and Arkansas. J.A. Avera was a druggist who also ran a general merchandise store in Camden, Arkansas. He also issued notes in Homer, Louisiana, about seventy miles from Camden that were redeemable in Camden. The note was printed in an almost festive green and red color scheme with an "ACCOMMODATION PAPER - 10" red overprint. PCGS grades this note Apparent Fine 15 due to the upper right corner tip being replaced and redrawn. Having said that, when is the last time you saw another example?
