    Franklin, LA- Marcus Walker 25¢ Jan., 1862, 50¢ May, 1862
    Jules Manouvrier produced these notes that are quite attractive with vignettes and blue underprints. The 25¢ features a steamboat and a blue undertint depicting an eagle with its wings spread. The 25¢ grades Very Fine with a few minor edge splits. The 50¢ note depicts a train and has a blue undertint of the steamboat shown on the 25¢ denomination. The 50¢ note grades Very Fine with some period graffiti on the back and the very end of the upper left corner tip missing.
