    This lot contains both the Baton Rouge and Shreveport $5 notes. Beginning with the third series issued from Baton Rouge, production was moved to Blanton Duncan in Columbia, South Carolina. He also produced paper money for the Confederacy. The Baton Rouge note has wide top and left margins. There are a number of tears at the margins, especially the left margin. The Shreveport note has a wide top margin. Fine or better. (Total: 2 notes)
