    Lyons City, IA- Treasurer of Lyons City $1 Jan. 13, 1859
    The central vignette appears to be a family working together. A young boy is a cobbler and a man and woman appear to be mending articles of clothing. This note has a red "ONE" overprint and is signed by George Burton, the recorder and also by the mayor. There are a few small areas of paper pull on the back and some adhesive residue. There are several notations in pen on the back, including "Presented for pmt Apr 2d 1839" and the signature of the treasurer as well as a note from the clerk, NB Howard stating that is was "Filed Sept 7/63." Choice About Uncirculated.
