The Dubuque and Sioux City Rail Road Co. was the successor to the Dubuque, Marion & Western Rail Road, ultimately becoming part of the Illinois Central system. This attractive $2 has a cattle watering vignette as well as an oval female portrait. It is printed in red and black with a large red 2 protector. PCGS notes a missing lower left corner, a small tear in the upper left corner, and some small rust stains. In addition there are a number of POCs in the signature lines, cancelling the note.
