    Chicago, IL - Farmers Bank $1 Oct. 1, 1852 N5 Non-Genuine Issue
This is a very rare and unusual note, classified as SENC in Haxby. The description and listed Gavit & Co. imprint are correct, despite the lack of an image. The note is likely a spurious note from the similar title from Chicago that existed for two years. At the upper right is a cattle vignette. At the upper left is a seated female holding a "ONE" lozenge counter. The New York City payable adds to the confusing nature of the note. Very pleasant, and an intriguing Chicago note. PCGS Fine 12.
