Greensborough, GA- Bank of Greensborough Uncut Sheet of $1-$1-$1-$2 GA-165- G2d-G2d-G2d-G4d Dec. 7, 1858 PCGS Very Fine 30.
Notes from the bank and this series are quite available. However, complete uncut sheets are rarely seen and quite undervalued when considered as a whole. Both types, the $1 and $2 notes, are splendidly rendered by Bald, Cousland & Co. The bank certainly had a large issue as both signatures are engraved. Blue printed serial numerals 6201 on each identifies this as the Alan Dorris collection sheet sold in January 2015 for $517. That was an excellent value for a difficult to procure uncut sheet. Rumpled overall and seen from the back. Bright from the face with full margins as made.
