    Rockville, CT- Rockville Bank $20 185_ as G12 Proof PMG Choice Uncirculated 63.
    The bank was organized in 1855 and remained in business until succeeded by the Rockville National Bank in 1864. This note, with a light red-orange overall tint and a large orange and white XX protector, depicts a large sheep shearing scene and an oval portrait of a young boy at right. The note is printed on India paper with the usual small POCs in the signature lines. While a large number of proofs from this bank appeared in the 1990 ABNCo Archives sale but it appears that only four of this particular variety were represented.
