Hartford, CT- Charter Oak Bank $1-$1-$2-$3 G2a-G2a-G4a-G6a Proof Uncut Sheet
One of the truly rare items from the American Bank Note Company's 1990 archives sale, which is where our consignor obtained this sheet and the sheet that follows. They were the only two sheets from this historic bank, with each note on both sheets listed as SENC in the Haxby reference. Every note on both sheets displays a vignette of the Charter Oak tree, a symbol of Connecticut's independence. PMG Choice Uncirculated 63, with 6 POC, mounted on light card stock.
