    Description

(Little Rock), AR - Arkansas Treasury Warrant $10 July 23, 1862
State Treasurer O(liver) Basham served in this position as Treasurer from February 1861 to April 1864. Basham then rode full time with the 7th Arkansas Cavalry Regiment as a lieutenant colonel. He was killed at the Battle of Pilot Knob (Fort Davidson) on September 27, 1864. This note is a bright and evenly circulated PCGS Very Fine 25 with full frame and great eye appeal. A blank back is seen on this delightful Treasury Warrant. The last $10 we sold was several months ago, a raw Very Fine with pinholes that realized $135.13.
