    Montgomery, AL- The State of Alabama 5¢; 50¢ (3) Jan. 1, 1863 Cr. 3; Cr. 4 (2); Cr. 11
    The 5¢ denomination features a cotton boll while the three 50¢ notes feature a rendition of the state seal of Alabama which was used from 1817 to 1868 and an oval portrait of Juliet Opie Hopkins, known by some as the "Florence Nightingale of the Confederacy" due to her efforts to improve medical services for CSA troops. The 5¢ note is Uncirculated while the 50¢ notes grade Very Good (Cr. 3), Fine with stamp hinges and paper thins, and Uncirculated. (Total: 4 notes)
