    Description

Eufaula, AL- Eastern Bank of Alabama $10
The vignettes on this $10 remainder include a slave picking cotton, a wharf scene with slaves loading a wagon and a riverboat in the background, and a woman holding a dove. This is the variety with a red tint rather than a green tint. The Eastern Bank of Alabama was incorporated on Feb. 8, 1858 and opened in 1859 at the corner of Broad and Randolph Streets. In the 1860s, the name was changed to John McNab Bank. The bank was closed in 1891 after McNab's death. About Uncirculated due to a center fold.
