    Wilmington, DE- City of Wilmington 5¢; 10¢ May 15, 1837 UNL Proofs Extremely Fine-About Uncirculated.
    These municipal issues were used during the Panic of 1837 with the 5¢ note having an oval vignette of Justice and the 10¢ note having a cut down version of a much larger vignette depicting a farm family resting under a tree during the harvest. Both notes are printed on India paper with POCs in the signature lines. Both notes have mounting adhesive stains and paper thins in the corners. (Total: 2 notes)
