    Washington City, DC- Exchange Bank $20 18__ as G20a Proof PMG Choice Uncirculated 63.
    It is believed that the Exchange Bank became the Exchange Bank of Selden, Withers & Co. around 1851, failing circa 1854. The note features vignettes of Ceres, Ceres with a maiden, and Ceres and Commerce seated by an oval portrait of Zachary Taylor. It is printed on India paper mounted on cardstock. There are no POCs in the signature lines. Haxby listed and illustrated this note in proof form with a slightly different imprint and there were three examples in the ABNCo Archives holdings.
