    A premium example, devoid of spindle holes or cancels as often seen. This series was printed by the Continental Bank Note Company and uses many dramatic vignettes. Kansas Arms are seen at the upper left. The long obligation specifically notes the use of the scrip to pay participants in "the Price Raid in 1864" and "Indian Expedition under Gen. Curtis..." later that year. As noted, not cancelled and wide margined. Ex Eric P. Newman Collection where it realized $258.50 in the Internet Part 1 sale.
