Plate Note in Durand's Architecture Book

Taunton, MA- Bristol County Bank $1 185_ G10 Proof PMG About Uncirculated 55.
The bank was incorporated in 1832 and remained in business until 1864-65 when it became the Bristol County National Bank of Taunton. The $1 features a large custom vignette of the Taunton Green ca. 1850. This note is printed on India paper with the usual POCs in the signature lines. PMG notes a couple of glue spots on the back and that the upper right corner tip has been replaced. Decidedly rare and likely to stay that way.
