    Description

St. Louis, MO (Terr.)- Bank of Missouri $3 Apr. 22, 1817 G18
A sharp example of this iconic type engraved by Murray, Draper, Fairman & Co. and signed by Auguste Chouteau. As used on each denomination in this series, a bust of Jefferson at the shore is featured at top center; a capped liberty pole is behind. End panels contain THREE and MISSOURI. PCGS Very Good 10 noting splits, tears, minor damage, repairs, and stains. Not as bad as it may sound. A nice representative example.
