Philadelphia, PA- The Bank of the United States $1000 Dec. 15, 1840 G100This is not the usually seen example of this high denomination note, as this piece is payable at the bank's branch in New York rather than at its principal office in Philadelphia. This is a well preserved post note that has retained plenty of embossing. PCGS Choice New 63PPQ.
