Description

McKee's Port, PA- Monongahela Valley Bank $5; $10 18__ Remainders G6a; G8a Very Fine; Crisp Uncirculated.
These very attractive red and black notes are examples of the state of bank note design just before the Civil War. The depiction of the Pennsylvania coat of arms on the $10 is particularly well done. The $5 has two stamp hinge remnants on the back top margin and the $10 has two spots caused by mounting adhesive residue as well as two hinge remnants in the top corners on the back. (Total: 2 notes)
