    Description

Frankfort, KY - Farmers Bank of Kentucky $100 KY-100 Design 100A-100Ba Unlisted, Hughes 266 var, KY-450-100-G100 var Archival Detector Note Fine.
An unusual and likely unique piece created by a successor bank for detection/archival use. Comprised of the severed halves of two genuine $100 notes, rejoined from behind with stamp hinges, each from a different series. The left side is a third series color remainder with red back by the ABNCo. The right end is half of a redeemed first series note dated 1851 with face annotations. Left portion trimmed closely. Fascinating piece from the Farmers Bank of Kentucky successor archive. A Kentucky specialist's delight!
