    The bank was typical of the Michigan experience in the late 1830s, lasting less than one year before failing in 1838. The notes grade Fine-Very Fine, with four notes (two $1s and two $2s) not quite measuring up to that standard due to stains, damage, or missing pieces. The $3 example is the plate note in the Haxby catalog, page 1044. (Total: 13 notes)
