    A boldly embossed example that has been well preserved for 179 years. It has two cut cancels and a cut out cancel. This is the nicest Medlar 42 to ever cross our desk. This piece is payable to A(lexander) McDonald. There are two different Alexander McDonalds in the Texas Archives.
