    A rare note that bears one of the greatest town names to be found on a National Bank Note. Hurricane is actually a small city of 5,000 residents in the western part of the state that was named after nearby Hurricane Creek. The sole issuer in Putnam County, this bank operated from 1914 until it closed its doors in 1927 with seven survivors presently reported. A restored example with multiple repairs fetched $3450 earlier this year, leading us to believe that this evenly circulated but problem free PMG Very Good 10 specimen will likely reach or exceed...
